We all have a different view on what order is, and some don’t mind living their life with clutter all around them. While that choice is up to each person to make, there is good reason to clear up some of the clutter if you are trying to sell your home. There are a few good reasons to do this. First, clutter can offer shelter to a wide variety of pests. If you can’t get to all areas of your home to clean them well, you can expect that something will take up residence there.

If someone is on a tour of your home and they observe a lot of clutter, they could come to the conclusion that there isn’t sufficient storage space for everyday living, and the home seems much smaller when there is a lot of things spread out everywhere. If they are unable to tour the entire home because of the blockage that clutter creates, that is another deterrent for a potential buyer.
